What Are Advocacy Issues

Advocacy Issues

The Hawaii Disability Rights Center provides advocacy for a variety of issues concerning the human, civil and legal rights of people with disabilities.

Because we have limited resources, HDRC develops client service priorities – issues that are given preference in the case screening and selection process, based on:

  • Public comments which are solicited annually,
  • The expressed need of our current and former clients
  • The current resources of our center
