HDRC works to fulfill its mission by actively engaging with local communities to provide information and education to improve the well-being of those with disabilities.

Our outreach efforts include visiting social service agencies, schools, or underserved communities that could benefit from HDRC’s services. This outreach provides an opportunity to inform the public about HDRC’s mission and the issues we address for individuals with disabilities. It also builds awareness of HDRC assistance programs and services.

HDRC also hosts training events throughout the year to promote a greater understanding of the constitutional or statutory rights of people with disabilities.
