Protection & Advocacy for Individual Rights (PAIR)

Certain disabilities can dramatically impact an individual’s life experience. The Protection and Advocacy for Individuals Rights (PAIR) program serves those with disabilities that substantially limit one or more major life activities. It also helps those who have experienced a violation of their civil rights because they have a disability.

PAIR protects the rights of individuals with disabilities who need services beyond the scope or eligibility requirements of the Client Assistance Program (CAP) or other protection and advocacy programs.

HDRC, through the PAIR program, can assist you with the following:

  • Information and referrals
  • Access to record
  • Legal, administrative, and other remedies to ensure the protection of individual rights

To determine your eligibility for PAIR or for more information or referrals to programs and services, call us at (808) 949-2922 or email an advocate at [email protected].
